A Night To Remember

It was a little after 8 p.m and the sun just set. It was the perfect July summer night to throw a rooftop party, a party the city of Los Angeles will never forget. The paparazzi stood outside of the hotel to get a detailed snapshot of the celebrities that arrived from head to toe. Flashing lights were everywhere. It was annoying at first but we knew they would be there, and I pretended like they were nonexistent as usual. Limousines, Lamborghinis, and Bentleys all pulled up and celebrities handed their keys to the valet and rushed upstairs to the top floor where the party was taking place.

There was so much traffic on sunset Blvd and I realized it was because of my party. My party shut down the whole block. We finally pulled up to the hotel, my driver got out the car and proceeded to open my door, my never worn before red bottoms hit the pavement one leg at a time. My freshly shaved legs were the first thing onlookers could see. My dress hugged me tight like a child to her mother. My date helped me out the car and we walked straight towards the front entrance of the hotel. I arrived late because it was my birthday party and it was acceptable.

I've never seen so many celebrities in one place before, it looked like the after party to the Oscars. Everyone was there to wish me a happy birthday. The DJ played soft music in the background and I heard some tapping silverware on an empty champagne glass saying “EVERYONE THE BIRTHDAY GIRL IS HERE”. Instantly the room grew silent and everyone turned and faced the entrance where I was standing. My date let go of my arm and stood in front of me, staring as if he was moving out the way so I can have the spotlight. I begged my publicist to continue on with the party and wish me birthday wishes later on in the night.

There were drinks, everywhere. Waitresses walking around with trays of the most expensive champagne attached with sparklers that looked like mini fireworks from a distance. The hotel catered little finger foods that you could enjoy without being messy. Everyone was mingling with one another, laughing and cheering on my drunken uncle to do the latest dance. People were taking pictures with the beautiful skyline in the background.

As I looked around the room I became overwhelmed with joy. Everyone was there for me. Although some people just came to show their face and leave the amount of people that stayed were many. The amount of gifts that I received was outstanding and surprising.

The party finally ended at 2 a.m. The party came and went by so fast. I just want to thank everyone for coming out to my birthday event. I hope you all enjoyed yourself as much as I did. I will be sending everyone who attended gift bags to your house. Be on the lookout for a package shortly. BEST BIRTHDAY EVERRRR! Thank you for a night I will never forget.
